JONESBORO,
AR (KAIT) – Police say the vehicle used during a car chase in Jonesboro was
listed as a stolen vehicle in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According
to initial reports from arresting officers, 33-year-old Adrian Johnson, of
Southaven, MS, and 24-year-old Jimmy Dewayne Tribblet, were arrested Tuesday
night after a police chase through Jonesboro.

One
of the officers said he originally tried to make a traffic stop on a Blue
Hyundai Sonata with Nevada tags on east Matthews Ave. because the driver was
not wearing a seatbelt.

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT & AP) - The Arkansas Claims Commission has awarded $100 to an inmate who says he was left in handcuffs in a prison cell for more than an hour.

Lorenzo Harvell filed a complaint, arguing that guards at the East Arkansas Regional Unit near Brickeys left him handcuffed in his cell and that he was unable to get the guards' attention.

The state Department of Correction admitted that Harvell was accidentally left cuffed for 66 minutes. But the department says Harvell never brought it to the guards' attention.
