Arkansas State University’s Small Business and Technology Development (SBTDC) and the Mississippi County, Arkansas Economic Opportunity Commission (MCAEOC) will host a free workshop entitled “Website in a Day,” Thursday, June 6, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The workshop will be in Blytheville at the MCAEOC Central Office, 1400 North Division Street.

The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center  (SBTDC) is offering a four-night hands-on “Introduction to QuickBooks” workshop beginning Tuesday, May 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the ASU Delta Center for Economic Development, 319 University Loop Circle.

Haag Brown Commercial announced Friday it has closed on a deal to bring a new restaurant and store to Jonesboro.

Qdoba Mexican Grill and The Everyday Chef will be located on Parkwood Drive facing Sissy's Log Cabin and Panera Bread, according to a news release from Haag Brown Commercial.

Nix Construction has already begun site work and completion is expected in late summer.
