Put your "Paws to the Pavement" | Events

This Saturday, June 16, leash up your pup and put your “Paws to the Pavement” in support of the Blytheville Humane Society.

The “Paws to the Pavement Walk” will be held at 10 a.m. at the humane society on the old Eaker Air Force base.  Participants will receive an event t-shirt along with a goody bag.

Registration is $20 and starts at 9 a.m.

If you don’t feel like going for a walk, there’s still plenty of fun things to do.  From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Hollywood Feed Store of Jonesboro will have a dog trainer on hand to answer your questions.  There will also be a dog wash, face painting and bling tattoos, as well as hot dogs and drinks.

From 1 until 3, the humane society will be administering $5 rabies shots.
