Former Blytheville resident celebrating milestone | Families
On Tuesday, March 28, 1911 Ollie Mae Cherry of Blytheville was born.
A lot has happened since then. The Titanic sank in the North Atlantic, a man walked on the moon and America elected its first African-American president.
Today marks another momentous occasion.
Mrs. Cherry is turning 102 years old.
This past weekend several friends and family members traveled to Little Rock where she lives in an assisted living home to help Mrs. Cherry celebrate this latest milestone.
Happy Birthday, Ollie Mae.
