John H. Wilkey | Families
John H. Wilkey, 76, of Bassett entered into rest Monday, March 12, 2012 in Osceola.
Born February 12, 1936 in Mississippi County to the late Roy M. and Mary Wilkey, he is of the Baptist Faith, a US Army veteran and retired Superintendent at Evadale Products.
He is survived by his daughter: Sharon Wilkey of Bassett; two grandchildren: Jeanie Wood of Blytheville and T.J. Wood (Chelsea) of Leachville; two great grandchildren: Kailee and Abbey Redman of Manila; two sisters: Melba Castleman of Salem and Mary Moore of Jonesboro; one brother: Mitchell Wilkey (Sharon) of Salem and numerous relatives and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife: Linda Carlton Wilkey.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. Funeral services are Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
